At Dental Care Associates of Buffalo, we understand how important your teeth are to your physical appearance. A good looking, healthy smile can help you feel more confident. This is why we provide a wide range of cosmetic dentistry procedures. These are treatments that’s main purpose is to help improve your teeth’s physical appearance. Here is a selection of some of the cosmetic procedures we are able to perform:
Teeth Whitening
Most people do not have naturally white teeth but rather a color that is slightly on the yellow side. Also, food and drink have the ability to stain and discolor teeth over time. At Dental Care Associates of Buffalo, we offer tray whitening which is a very effective, safe and pain free procedure. Our team of specialists will simply make impressions of your teeth and then provide you with the special bleaching material. Simply wear the trays for 30 to 60 minutes a day and your teeth will become much whiter.
ClearCorrect Straightening and Aligning
If your teeth are a bit crooked, have poor spacing, or if you have bite problems our office may be able to help. We use ClearCorrect which are invisible braces and aligners to create the perfect smile. We will make a quick impression of your mouth and develop a treatment plan that will result in beautiful, straight teeth.
Tooth Bonding
Tooth bonding is an excellent way to repair a chipped tooth, to close gaps in the mouth, or to fix a tooth decay problem. Our team will ensure that the bonding will look and feel just like your real teeth.
Veneers
Veneers are a great option for those who cannot achieve the color of whiteness they desire or those whose teeth are chipped or have imperfect enamel. Some people say veneers look like fingernails that are attached to the outside of your teeth. However, unlike fingernails they are very strong and provide a great way to strengthen fragile teeth.
Our office specializes in two types of veneers. The first is called direct technique. In this method, the veneers are attached to the outside of the teeth with bonding.
The second type of veneers is called indirect technique. This method involves taking impressions of your existing teeth and having a special laboratory create custom veneers for your mouth. Your teeth will be prepared and be given a temporary covering for a couple weeks. Then, when the veneers are ready they are attached with a pressed ceramic or porcelain.
