As it is wearing off, you may feel some pins & needles sensations for a short time before everything returns to normal
Once all the anesthetic has worn off & you feel normal, check your bite. If it feels that any of your teeth are hitting out of sync, please call the office & let us know – this is not something that self corrects.
After Scaling & Replaning (or Deep Cleanings)
Warm salt water rinses are going to help the tissue calm down the quickest. Use ½ teaspoon of salt in 8 oz. warm water. Swish keeping in mouth for at least 30 seconds then spit. Do Not Swallow
